Below poster, many PHC’s were also told that and then laid off.

To the poster below, I too was told in our team meeting in October that there was plenty of work for us coming up and we didn't have to worry about losing our jobs. Then I was laid off 2 weeks later. I am not HAH but in another segment that works w/HAH.
This article mentions the additional 250 will be in 2018:
"The additional 250 reductions mentioned on Wednesday are expected to come in 2018 and "will occur as part of the natural, ongoing fluctuations in parts of the company," Marx said. "

We know other departments exist. However, after four straight rounds of watching our role decimated, we are justifiably concerned.
There’s an element of, for lack of a better term, “ptsd” here too, as many of us were told we were “safe” just weeks before last round. Also told “no more this year” earlier in year. So concern and questions are justified.
Yeah, we know we are part of a company with other roles and departments. Does that answer our questions or alleviate our anxieties? Maybe before - not this time, though.
We don't even know if that 250 more is HAH. We are just a small portion of Humana. Many other departments exist!
Rxv- any idea what numbers they are aiming for within the Che, PHC, hcmss and cm roles? Is the 250 going to be the end of it? What criteria is used?
I’m a PHC and our last update from coach was “no promises for 2018.”
No assurance this time that they are keeping phc’s after moves to monitored are complete.
They are keeping PHCs. Just keeping their numbers low. The article also says Medicare Advtange members to increase by 15,000-180,000 for 2018. "The company's focus on holistic care is making a difference". HAH provides holistic care
Oh crap. Is that about how many phc’s are left?
The remaining 250 will be in 2018
2700 instead of 2450. This includes early retirement group.

Before the end of 2017 ?
