Are Shaw people more at risk for layoffs? We are second rate citizens here. We don't have a champion in management. Our businesses are getting discarded. And we seem to be blamed for cbis problems.

I don’t think legacy Shaw employers are at anymore risk.
But I’m sure that both CB$I and Shaw would of been better off if uncle Phil didn’t want to get one last acquisition done before he retired.
The Clearfield plant just lost 60 today November10,2017. If you still dont believe that its shutting down you are in serious denial.
CMS is a joke. Procedures most employees have never heard of. A great tool used by HSE and management to justify disciplinary action because they dont have balls to say something. Great also for turning a five minute job into a two hour job. I guess when you hire inexperienced morons for management posistions they need some sort of guidelines. Im a ahaw employee, and our plant is closing. Im dissapointed I'm losing my job, but happy as hell I'll no longer have to work for these bunch of jackasses!!!
You hr and Shaw you in ok- hr be the only ones not cut at top positions. Cms a document- can't read can't build- put crap in top jobs never hold accountable then fire everyone else never blame ones in charge!
The problem is Lummus. When CB&I bought Lummus they started CMS. Things have gone south ever since. They have turned their employees into clerks. CMS has had a negative impact on the bottom line. Try to operate like our government but does not have tax payers to support them.
They hire a cheap workforce that cannot engineer and execute a project. They look for CMS to fill in the gaps. CB&I it is not working, DUH!
Shoulda built a wall at the Tx La border in 2012. If only. i wish I could get the taste of turd n mayo out of my mouth. Yuk.
We can test that hypothesis soon enough.
