Top of which pyramid? There is no pyramid. A buch of s---ers and opinion builders. Poor Management, PoorPruduct, Outdated technology and worst CEOs that the industry has seen. Two womanizers and a keep.
True, anybody down the ranks are treated like crap, no advancement, no raises, etc. Don't understand why half of the people stay there. I think they just become placid and too lazy to realize how many better companies there are out there to work for.
I find it interesting that Accenture is ranked ahead of Apple, because from what I have heard it is a hire and fire company that makes its employees long hours, unless something has changed recently.
Most New Economy companies. The only ones on that list who actually manufacture physical goods are Microsoft and Apple. The rest just push bits and dollars around.
