When our club closed we were given 60 days to find position at sams or Walmart. We were
Paid our regular pay during that time unless we took a job. If you so not accept a position you are paid for the 60 Days and then will receive a severance pkg based on years of service. Vacation and personal time are paid out if you leave company but you lose all sick time. 90% of 20 Plus associates took severance pkg for our club and moved on
If you choose to leave and not relocate yes you get the severance
When they close a club they give you 60 days to find another to work at and yes you get paid during that time...I helped out at a club that closed this past year
No I believe they were all notified and just got vacation time, you may check with your GM. There’s no telling with the direction the company is going honestly. Sam’s club seems to make up its own policy’s along the way.
