Secrecy around closings

I honestly believe that noone knows whats going on. Supposedly they are "shuttering" multiple fab shops because they have no work. They announced it at Beaumont, Laurens, El Dorado, Walker. I believe warn notices have been handed out. I've read on another post that Lake Charles was gonna be only fab shop left open, and all bending was moving to clearfield. The company is being very secretive/shady. At any rate, timw to get away from cb&i. Id rather work for a trustworthy group that treats employees better.

WARN notices issued at El Dorado today. 12-11-2017. Back dated to 12-07-2017.

CB&I as well as many other companies have their own bottom lines in their minds, not the employee’s future. They will retain you as long as you are productive and let you go the day you aren’t. That is the reality, specially in a publically treaded company. Do what is good for you and your future, not CB&I’s.

Fact that you know nothing bodes well for them. This meeans theyre doing their job. If everyone knew, no telling what would happen. You can rest assured that the outcome will not be in the best interest of the lower employees. Unfortunately, when you find out it will be done and you will have no recourse but to find alternative employment.
