Thread regarding Sears layoffs

A cow selling steaks from itself until there's no more cow left

From the Motley Fool this morning: “Sears isn't cutting its way to health. It's a cow selling steaks from itself until there's no more cow left.” Accurate imagery!

@r11 - The trolls on this board are not the people who work for corporate. They are the people who want the company to fail.

Maybe...maybe not...but don't you ever get sick of reading the same thing over and over again? BORING. It's like the guy who called himself "Popcorn" and everyone believed it was someone who had an insider scoop and it wasn't.

It's all the same....article after article...year after year. It's all so boring to read.

Sometimes a good number of these financial articles are just repeating another article, maybe using different adjectives or saying the same thing, just backwards. After reading, you realize you just lost those few minutes of your life. Occasionally there is a well written bit that engages the reader. Then, without warning, as in this one, there is just a single line that borders on poetry, at least within the world of Sears Holdings Poetry. I do not include "This is part of our Transformation" as poetry. More like "Rosebud" in Citizen Kane. The dying words of a once great giant are understood by nobody and, a bit later, nobody cares any longer.
