Thread regarding Goodyear layoffs

Safety is an issue!

Goodyear really needs to update its equipment and improve on our safety training! Some positions are physically challenging and labor intensive, and working with obsolete equipment that is outdated can increase the chances of an accident. Not to mention the impact it can have on the productivity of an employee.

In addition, understaffed retail outlet means longer working hours, which makes the shop disorganized and unsafe to work in especially when challenges arise on the fly. Due to this it can be a really dangerous area and you need to be extra focused while on the job to stay safe.

Solve these issue, Goodyear!

Ditto! Here's coverage over poor safety and production quality at Goodyear plants where several workers have given sworn statements in lawsuits: https://www.yahoo.com/news/treading-dangerously-lax-safety-inside-151723798.html

American workers are dying of accidents due to poor working safety conditions, production quality of tires are getting poorer - all this while we hear jives and hypes from a bunch of so-called Business Development Managers at Akron , most of who are not even American, sounds like they took a flight out of Bangalore yesterday. Apparently they bought expensive MBAs which gives them the authority to not only rule over American workers but also try to sell them condescending hypes and insult their intelligence in the process. If Trump won't keep his promise to bring back quality in America via American values and people who are American then we shall have to take up the cause ourselves.
