"How did you get hired by Oracle?"
I was abducted. I was working happily at Siebel and then suddenly I found myself in an Oracle building with really nasty a--holes and incompetent managers.
OP:
I just talked about you and your incredible resume to a very talented manager @ oracle (I know: most of them are).
He/she (sorry I cannot provide name) was so impressed by you that he/she know want to hire you.
Please stay tuned and be ready to pick the phone.
He/she is on the way to call you.
Don't thank me, really, you deserve it.
haha ...
If you can, pick a company that listed in Top 100 Companies to work for. If you can't, then s--- it up while looking for better place. It's purely business. When you are not needed, you get booted without warning, when you don't need them, you can boot them too. Fair and square. You work for money not loyalty.
Hello! It’s 1987 calling.
"How did you get hired by Oracle?"
Well, you can start by applying on their job website.
FWIW, my experience is that new hires get new Windoze laptops and that you get a new machine every 4 years or so, and that Mac laptops will now be offered.
That said, get used to not getting raises if you work at Oracle.
Idle threats from the HR dept.
tells you all you need to know about the oracle culture.
And RUN, don’t walk, AWAY from Oracle and any job opportunity .
be careful , boys and girls. HR be a tracking then IP addresses so post yer derision outside the ORCL network
so there, HR trackers. get thee gone.
Easy, just write LE, MH or SC and tell them how much you would like to spend your days kissing their asses, and bingo, you’ll get hired right away.
This is so a spam post by oracle HR! They are getting clever aren’t they, rather than criticizing existing posts they now write ‘positive’ posts of their own. Get lost HR drones
You sound like a bright person and you should deserve to work for Oracle.
And you get 150% bonus.
BTW ...I meant to write that in a total sarcasm font.
Oracle is a dream job. They are 100% honest in HR and management. Employees are valued and respected. You have brand new workstations not refurbished, used 2012 computers. Your career path is a trajectory to the top....just as advertised and as promised. Your hard work and dedication is rewarded. Oracle is accompany you want to be loyal to because of the leadership and great honest culture.
