Reading a lot about getting rid of our warehouses and shipping to stores. I can confirm that at our plant we are transitioning to new unitizer equipment that puts the pallets on the units and then wraps them. Was told the entire organization is going this route by our head engineer. Seems to me like that would be so we can ship directly to stores.

Precisely the reason we went from pack 12 to pack 6 on most skus, customer request. This way they won't have bs, will make cases for to the shelf. All things are pointed in that direction!
More like ship directly to warehouses.
It's all about cost cutting.
DSD is going away
