I’ve been an employee of West (formerly InterCall) for almost 20 years. This is a time of complete uncertainty. We have no idea of our 3rd quarter or 4th quarter numbers as we are no longer public. Gone are the days of company wide conference calls reviewing our info and being transparent. Instead, we have rare meetings where company info is glossed over as we are all the “unintelligent employees” that higher management considers us to be. I hope that Apollo realizes that the West Point and Southern employees is where this all started. There would not be anything without these talented and loyal employees. Stop sending everything to the Philippines and India. Keep jobs in America. Stop paying management in Chicago and Omaha 10 times more than the actual employees in the field. I guarantee this management doesn’t even meet with their teams on a quarterly or annual basis. I personally have not heard from my manager, director or VP in over a year. We have no team meetings. Communication has ALWAYS been the biggest issue with West. Employees have no idea what we offer, what we do, what teams do, what is in place. I know our customers feel this even worse. West is in a state of confusion. What is our goal? What is our mission? Everything is frozen. Although I am a loyal employee, I know there is no future with this company. Employees will need to decide if they will stay onboard or go down with this ship. I hope Apollo stops listening to those that have been in power without being connected to employees and customers. I hope they start listening to those in the line of fire.
