All this training just to lay off management in the end
Certainly not just Verizon Wireless! Also many Verizon Business employees, effective 5/9/18!
They are probaly going to play with blocks and come back and try to get their employees to do more for less,so they can buy another AOL or capt crunch company
You're feeding fires that aren't there. If they're going to VA, it's for leadership training which we are doing there to be fully immersed. I should know - I helped design the program, lol
Net Ops, (assurance eng.) Cutting our tasks down to nothing. Contractors coming? Don't know, but it sure looks that way. Everyone wonders if they will be gone by March.
No, they aren’t , stop making BS up so the rest of us can find legit stuff
FWIW, the NCC experience is $h!t. "LEAD Academy." A lot of the SMs went through it last year. The accommodations are a joke. It's like being stuck on a cruise ship, with rooms 1/2 the size, and without the norovirus....maybe.
It's a lot of fluff, but a total waste of money. No one wants to be there, including the trainers.
They teach a lot of fluff, and then you go back to your stores to do the same ish you have been doing for the past 10 years.
Regardless of what they're rolling out, nothing changes. Waste. of. time.
It's to reinforce the ineffectiveness of the job, we will go over things like will it be a Mercedes or Bmw this year, how to get home by 4:30 or just work from home, what to have for lunch, how can we have more conference calls in a week and how to extend them, the art of micromanagement and finally how to maximize my days off during holidays, summer, oh well ! the whole year with never working a Sunday. It should be fun.
That's for training. Anything at the NCC in Virginia is a good thing. I wouldn't panic on that.
