Why is anybody surprised by these layoffs? We've seen the management cut costs by laying off people over and over again, why would now be any different.
People who work here are not human beings to them. We are simply numbers that can be crossed over with a stroke of the pen. They couldn't care less about how many lives and families that's going to ruin.
This is truly sad, because if they saw as a long-term resource rather than a number that can improve short-term results, I truly believe the company would benefit. We have really good people working here who could be an invaluable asset if utilized properly. I'm not holding my breath to see it happen, though.
