I have to be honest. Nov 1st felt like the day from hell. You sit around and ponder, "how in the hell did this happen to me". You stop feeling motivated and get even more depress because people at work are afraid to speak to you. It's hard to walk in the building each day knowing your last day is around the corner.
Then out of no where your support comes in to rescue you. God is indeed watching over me. One friend, who retired 10 years ago said, "Colgate is doing you a huge favor ". Do you want to be with a company that is going down cutting people to stay afloat"? Go while the market is good and you won't believe what you can accomplish and be. The company has held you back for too long and this is your season. This is what my friend said to me.
I found myself feeling better and after a few days started to pick myself up. More calls started pouring in and recruiters started calling in.
It's OK to feel depressed but snap out of it. Colgate didn't get the best of you. In fact they lost a great talent. Until you find that job, your going to have moments. Stay strong. . Their is indeed life after Colgate. You can do it...
