That is customary. Is it not? Companies all over the country are planning for special gifts and festivities for their employees in appreciation for their hard work and dedication. Haven't heard any planning in the Buzz talk or Hi Page. What will you be doing for your employees Servant Leader? Surely we will not be getting coal in our stockings.

LOL. I remember that "Christmas Eve HEDIS emergency." Our coach said, "heads up guys - we are probably going to make some members mad or at least annoy them today, but it is what it is and they want us to work this list."
I guess if were to say one thing I'm grateful about at Humana, it's that I have a coach would would never force us to sit around and talk about how grateful we are for Humana! Haha. He is pretty blunt. Sadly, with the ongoing decimation of us PHC's, he is recommending we all look hard for other opportunities, update our resumes, and not get blindsided in 2018. I have friends on other teams who were told they are "safe" up until a few weeks ago when they were impacted. My coach doesn't feed us that BS, and tells us to get ready...
So that's what I'm grateful for.

I knew things were taking a turn 2 years ago when we got an “emergency list” of people who needed HEDIS addressed on Christmas Eve.
“Sorry, ma’am, I know you are wrapping gifts for your grandkids and you’ve got cookies in the oven, but I need the date of your last eye exam. Stat!” Yeah, that was embarrassing.
Been with the company 12 years and sorry to report, not only do we not get a bonus or party- never even received a Christmas card from BB.

Pretty pathetic, my spouse works for a small no- name company and he gets a bonus, a party oh and extra time off.

Oh holy crap! We had a team meeting like that too! One thing we are grateful for at Humana. It was stomach-turning BS.
My coach - since “impacted” - laid it on thick. Then we all had a chance to pipe in.
Didn’t we get an ice cream coupon one year?? Hmmm, I’m not sure.🤔. Oh yes..., SMH, I recall now😆..., I got the ice cream coupon from our local Sunday paper! And from Humana for the holidays, we all got to share “why we felt grateful to work for Humana” in our weekly coach/team meeting. It was quite uplifting! Almost better than a bonus 💩💩💩😩
No, bonuses in healthcare at Christmas are NOT customary. I've worked in managed care for 9.5 years and have never received a bonus that was not merit related. There's not even money for a holiday party. Scrooge!!!
I’m assuming this is your first holiday season at Humana. We don’t get a thing. Bonuses??? We don’t even get a $5 gift card.
