Severance Terms Adjustments

I would assume that the terms are standard and non-negotiable for the severance that's typically offered to any GE employee that has been laid off...but I thought I'd go ahead and ask. Did anyone try to negotiate some different terms? For health care, or end date, or anything?

It’s all pre-written to exact detail and reviewed by legal. No changes will be made but you can refuse to sign the agreement and take your 2 weeks pay and leave.

Oh wait, it’ll only be one week actually because one of the two weeks pay you will get is the week you did not get paid for back in January (remember?).

You get what you get and you don’t get upset.
