Please answer frankly and in a civil way.
What would you do?
Would you recommend Verizon to your friends?
If yes (or no), why?

As an employer, absolutely. While things are definitely not perfect, it’s still not a bad job. Especially considering the benefits package. I would just advise them to use Verizon as they will use them. Don’t plan on having a career in Verizon, but if Verizon gives them the start or boost they need, then they should go for it.
OP - go to WZV's page and ask the question: &verizon-wireless
@ywj-thank you. Big wtf.
Looking for recommendations? Just look at this fu¢king layoff board. Does this not speak volumes?
OP is either a complete moron or a troll...
Service YES, but through Xfinity Mobile, as it's infinitely cheaper.
To work here, NO, I would NOT recommend that. At least not currently.
It's toxic right now. To many unknowns.
No not at all the backstabbing bad management it took a village to get rid of a bad manager for s-xual harassment another assgrabber director drank too much accosted many women and got demoted really.
It's a crying shame that Verizon sold off FIOS/fiber in the other States, I'm hearing in at least 20 States were sold to Frontier. It's hugely popular in the areas that have it and it blows the competition away.
Very poor planning and leadership....not sure why that happened but it has proven to be yet again another big mistake by the powers that be at Verizon.
I would recommend the fios service it's probably the best service Verizon has. It beats the others by a giant margin and everyone I know has it and loves it.
Services are good.
Employment is tough, but salaries are among top and benefits are good
HELL to the NO.... is that civil enough?
For Service I would say no. For employment absolutely not.
@gxz.... What are you saying? We’re lost. 🤷♂️
Depends on the team. I would recommend my team. But should this team start to lose funding too, I may have to look elsewhere.
Yes to both -
As a service - absolutely.
As an employer - if other options have been exhausted and they intent to FULLY take advantage of the educational options and they both maintain and execute an exit plan.
Yeah if you live in that $hithole called New England. I guess you can get FiOS. For the rest of the country. NOPE!
@gxz - another millennial hard at work pledging allegiance. Been there less than a year and cant type - great advice, "Just saying".
Absolutely as a FIOS customer, nothing beats the fiber to the premise for internet speeds 1 gig ...and it's insanely reliable. It's hands down the best product Verizon has today.
If this were 2004 and we are talking wireless absolutely.
Fast forward to today and the moneis gone time to move on! Glad I got mine though!
You haven't been there long enough then...Just wait...the fog will clear soon.
Yes, both as a provider and employer.
It's been a good, fair, and quite frankly, a beneficial company to work for.
If people who don't like the company or don't want to work here, would move the hell on, that might some people their jobs.
Just saying...
For service yes. For employment.... never.
Everyone I know already knows how VZW treats its employees and have changed providers in the last year.
To work here or to use for a telecom service?
