But at what cost? How many workers will loose jobs white and blue collar? I’m glad the managers in my shop started treat those worthless union workers like slaves. It is comical and better for the business. To sit back and listen how management is afraid to loose their careers and to watch the union get pushed around. What a great company

This is a silly question. Yes, it's going to cost jobs. The ship is going down - they need to do whatever is necessary to save the company. If you had gangrene in one leg, would you sacrifice the leg or let it kill you?
The standard of English grammar on this site is dismaying. It is no surprise that a poorly-educated workforce will bring GE into an irreversible state of despair and decline. As for the rough diamonds of BH, well, let's not even go there.
