BHge is a sinking ship that's why GE cut them loose. More pay cuts coming and pension gone forever.

What a heap of pish on here!!!! GE is contracted to be a shareholder until July 2019 with BHGE, if they want out before then they have to put a proposal forward to a three member council made up of one ex-GE Board Member and two ex-Baker Hughes Board Members and the only proposals that will be looked at are the ones that benefit BHGE. It's in the contract. BHGE with or without GE will always now be BHGE with all Bakers and GE's equipment. When GE pull out all it will be is a money and share issue. BHGE will continue as is. Get the facts before you spout sh--e all over the internet.

This is a typical al thing with GE. It is just a brand at the end of the day, that is it. Based on my own experoence companies that they have acquired in OIL & GAS have gone down in just a few years. These can be added as study cases in business major on how a company can be destroyed in just a few years!

Hey, that's a great idea, since we were doing so well before GE came along! Oh wait, hmmm, okay maybe not so great! Maybe we should try a new way of doing things for a change?

No, GE have phuckked themselves. They spend millions taking over a company, then 5 months later under a new CEO they decide to scale down to 3 core businesses, not including OilField services, so decide to dump their 63% share in BHGE. What a waste of everyones time and money. The entire GE Board behind the takeover should be sacked.

No ! No pension for you ! Forget about the pension. Why do people think they entitled to a pension? Companies all working to get rid of pension plans. City of Houston being dragged under due to its current plan requirements. No pension is the new normal. Go look for a former Enron employee 401k holder and cry on their shoulder big boy.

Once GE saw that BH Aberdeen were losing work particularly stoneywoods they decided to kick them out of bed. The honeymoon was over. Bad management at BH was always going to drag this company into the sewer.

GE can't afford to pay BH pensions but the top execs are making hundreds of millions? What a scam. Who would want to work here?
