Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Lots of good guys leaving

Just saw a post on Facebook from a friend announcing today was his last day at walmart after 10 years. He was one of the most talented and friendliest developers/engineers I’ve ever met and had the honor of working with during my 15 year career at walmart. He is moving all the way to the east coast for a new career.. I say all of this to let everyone know, you might not find something local in your career search... don’t be afraid relocate in your search for a new job..... I’m not sure why this young man left, but it’s sure made me question why am I still here. Good luck to everyone on the search for a new job.

I also left after 10 years. After seeing the current environment for the past 2 years I was telling people the HO will suffer a serious brain drain. The reputation and treatment isn't a secret. The word is out there. Unless they overpay or someone is that desperate no one will move to Bentonville for a job there.
