looks like many others thinking about leaving. I know there is 2 weeks notice rule in company policy otherwise company may not pay for unused vacation. however at the same time, the rule says company can make me leave immediately, too. so I am wondering whether it is safe to tell my manager about leave it on Dec/1. or should I wait till bonus is deposited on my bank? saying Dec/8. asking here as I guess many others are in same boat with me.

There's no 2 week rule. You already earned the vacation, it's yours. 2 week notice has always been a courtesy.
Yes, You better wait until the cash is fully seen in the bank. Another question: when the RSU is available in the etrade account? A potential employer offered to pay for the unvested RSU - so is it usual for a new employer to ask you to provide a balance of RSU or would they rely on your words only? I am getting RSU this review and want to negotiate with new potential employer.
