What a shame and To bad. It Use to be a great place to work. To build a good standard of living. To be able to be a good member of society and provider for a persons faimly.
I here now that the young college management are so afraid to lose their career they ride the workers in the floor in fear. The fear that if they do not piss off the people on the floor and take safety and quality out of the picture just for quantity numbers. That they will be let go and most likely they will be. I hope GE for the sake of the newer generation guys in power in Schenectady they shut it down.
I here that guys are ready to walk out and quit and people have already left. I am glad they closed the battery plant that place was a zoo. I here that 273 plant in Schenectady is a complete circus with arrogant College kids as the conductors.
Life after GE will be better for those about to quit! TRUST ME! Verizon is Hiring, along with other great companies in the area. I’m glad I got into Verizon I am making $46.32 an hour after my training was completed. The GE days are numbered and they are breaking the union down quickly. Big Changes in the works.
