Did he say what positions are being cut after Christmas?
Was just told by my DM that the cuts and closures will come after Christmas. He “suggested” that I do whatever is in the interest of my family soon. At least I have a DM with a conscience.
As we all know, senior management is aware of this site and sees the comments. When will one of them have the decency to make a post on here? They shy away in their boardrooms having conversations of what their new expensive purchases were and what their plans are for the holidays. It's always only about their life and their stories. Do any of you come off your overpaid high clouds at any point and think about the people that are out there busting their butts to make a living which in turn pays your over priced salary? Those people have stories as well, do you ever stop to think how may hours they put in to their job to make their paycheck? Did you know that their spouse got laid off, that their child is sick or their parent? Did you ever stop to think about their struggles and how your attitudes contribute to their already rough life? It's easy to sit up there in your own little circle never looking outside of it. Layoffs, pay cuts, no company vehicle, these affected YOUR EMPLOYEES more than you realize. Another payment for a car when living paycheck to paycheck already. Yet I bet most of you have a wife at home that doesn't work yet has all the fine things in life by you going to work and collecting the paycheck you were given from the people in the fields that work tirelessly putting in long hours to earn their pay. The ones that sit up at night trying to figure out bills and which one to pay this month and which one they can skip. Your management style has come to the point that being greedy, heartless and rude to your employees is now acceptable. What you are doing to your employees will only become important when it affects your family, your parent or your child. Shame on you. Just remember, Karma is a B-----
Thanks for the info. I'm not surprised it's happening, I sure don't trust their word's why they say no more layoffs. Our DM even thinks more will come.
