Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Other than the fact the Q bulidings are owned and not rented space, what incentive does Hock Tan possibly have to keep a large presence in SD???

@1lon: Not going to happen. HT is in San Jose and isn't going to move. On the other hand, there's already a large presence in SDO, and QCOM will only increase this.

Broadcom is a much smaller company than Qcom/NXP.. Who is to say that San Diego is not the new HQ?
