Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Black Friday?

Anybody else finding their store not even close to the usual Black Friday crowds? Not sure what's going on, we are usually packed, but today other than this morning, we barely have more people than we do on usual days. I'm afraid that if we are doing this bad today, we might be on the chopping block soon...

Sam's club not busy at all maybe they should treat people better. A Sam Walton quote if you take care of your employees they will take care of your business. How many of you actually shopped at the club or Walmart Thanksgiving or the black Friday. I say every associate needs to boycott both Walmart and Sam's club. These higher ups need to feel how were feeling. Unfortunately some of us will be eliminated but eventually it will reach the asses responsible for the downfall.

Check out this analysis / tracking - most elements are on target and paint a bleak picture, some elements are exaggerated though but still, probably best analysis on 2017 BF

Retail is over!

The days of the media, being a part of that huge event are over.

Retail is changing, people actually want to stay home on Thanksgiving and have family time. It wouldn’t hurt these retailers to be closed on the holidays consumers would work around it to get the next hot deal.
