After working for the Farm for about 5 years, I’m happy to say I never have to go there again.
In those 5 years, I barely learned anything new. They transformed claims from a somewhat professional environment into a pure call center. Why the hell did I get an education and designations in order to read a word track every day and to be yelled at by upset people?
What upset me the most is how they kept everything so hush about the new model only to implement it in the worst possible way. Then to top it off, after feeding us BS for years about change and everything coming, they up and announce they’re closing my office. After that, I spent nearly every day applying for jobs on the clock until I got the hell outta there. So glad I didn’t take a new model job in a hub only to have moved 1000 miles to hate life somewhere else.
To all the claims people still there, please know that there is a way out just be persistent and keep applying. IT people... I really don’t know what to say. Keep your head up and be open to relocation if you can.
