Can somebody come up with a cost saving measure that will actually be implemented that is something other than layoffs?
We have all these ideas being thrown around, commitments to follow through are made, and then nothing happens. Citi really needs some kind of accountability for people who commit to do something then simply don't do it.
Also, can we stop creating unnecessary expenses by going to third party vendors for solutions that we can easily develop in house for a quarter of the cost?
There are ways to avoid as many layoffs, it'd be really nice if Citi tried some of them...
