Will Culture Change at GE

So far it appears they have no plans to reflect on culture and continue with same old same old. Executives continues to use HR as a weapon of choice to threaten staff and fudging the numbers or cooking up a tasteful story still sells inside. Still buying companies and selling for less. innovation talk is fake like HR

Amazing how they operate. Those that repeatedly make mistakes get promoted, just because they cozy up to their leader. Leadership clueless that they are like to surround themselves with yes men/women. Repeatedly promoting out-of-their-league employees... Pathetic. Hard to see a great company like GE in this situation.

If investors are thinking John Flannery might turn around GE then they are looking at Jeff Immelt 2.0. All in HR are sold outs. Matt Lauer of NBC lost his job because of HR acting quickly. HR and executives are buddies at GE

The problem is culture at GE of present management and HR

Mostly inept just passing thru trying to collect bonuses vs excellence in science, technology, products, and customer needs. Almost none are experts in the business anymore, and are just looking to show they changed something to get bonus and promotion.

Completely self serving

This is what is destroying the GE brand

You have to jump through hoops to get anything in this place.

This may be the root cause of all troubles in the past and future, but it does not appear to be a priority at all.

true true true managers and HR dont like smart cookie because they dont fit in the GE culture and it gives them heart ache. they want workers who can dance in the circle with out stepping out.
