It is very surprising. Most people there have no or very little work. Waiting for pie in the sky type contract award in future. What a waste of corporate resource.

spl: Why not hire few of the laid off folks from the other division? I know lots of employees including some managers are not from nuclear industry.
Just because it didn’t happen this week doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Plus we had a lot of layoffs early in 2017

Nuclear had layoffs this year already. There are plenty of groups there that have lots of work and not enough people.
