Support team changes

I’m on the sign team I’ve looking at this website for a while and our discussion board at work , does anyone know of restructuring of the support teams ? I’ve seen talk of electric signing and I know it’s up and running in test stores for shoes and electrics I think. But I’m thinking if the store was really cutting cost they would switch to electric signs and simplify the way merchandise is put out like all merchandise tagged with the letter A on one fixture would be 25% or all blenders 30%

And the merchandisers would change scan product and upload for the sign to change

I think I’m just running scenarios in my mind but can anyone tell me about support restructuring?

I would just like a heads up so I can budget my money better if anything

Having worked at Kohl's at one point, I can tell you that electronic signing is not inexpensive. Plus, it is still work to upkeep the systems and Kohls is actually going to do away with it. I have not heard anything about Macy's going to electronic signing. I think the changes are more about being integrated - make sure you are POS trained so you can help on the Sales Floor. Certainly not the reverse... Sales helping BOH?! Ha-ha!

I am office support and I am mentally preparing and saving my money. I was able to work some overtime and I have saved all the extra money I was able to earn. From what I am hearing, most of the cuts will be in support this time. So start saving.

My advice, prepare now. Don't wait. That goes for everyone, regardless of your area of expertise. Very uncertain times ahead.
