The Big Kmart on East Innes Street in Salisbury is going to die in early April, after escaping so many closing lists, heck, even when the Wal-Mart on South Arlington Street opened in October of 2002, the Kmart managed to stay alive, and stayed alive during the bankruptcy debacle earlier in January of 2002. After the Big Kmart closes, there will be no more Kmarts in Rowan County.

Pennsylvania is losing 10 Kmarts and 3 Sears (ouch!)
In Toms River, the Sears is closing while the Kmart is remaining open.
I'm surprised the Greenville, MI Kmart lasted as long as it did with both Walmart and Meijer in close proximity. Also I'm surprised no Sears are closing in MI.

1034 is long overdue to close considering the management. The market leader and DM should have been terminated long ago

Toms River NJ has a Target nearby. Walmart is looking at setting up shop in the Kmart once it is gone because it could never get a location approved in proximity to the Kmart.

I've heard that Sears #1034, Ross Park in Pittsburgh, PA is closing. Haven't heard about any others in the direct Pittsburgh area.
