Prolly close all domestic cbi offices and farm out engineering to India or Asia
That is the problem with looking at reports and not knowing the business. There is more to business than just looking at reports. I am telling you Houston is worthless.
IF anything were to happen it would be after second quarter.
The problem is that the only information McDermott has is what Houston is telling them. And they will always say Houston is better.
If that is the case then McDermott seems to have a handle on it. That is as long as they gut Houston for the most part. Most of the people are corrupt and worthless. Management and engineering is a joke in Houston.
Unfortunately McDermott will close all of CBI offices and onshore under their roof!
Don't need CBI management
Tyler knows how to engineer and build a plant. They have been bailing Houston out ever since CB&I bought Lummus. Before Lummus, CB&I made money on projects.
The rumor of closing Tyler down has been going around for years. If McDermott was smart they would close Westchase. We will see how smart they are.
Westchase is a joke compared to Tyler in terms of ability engineer a system. Further more Department Managers and Department Directors are crooks there. If it is a choice between Tyler and Westchase, that needs to be Westchase bunch of incompetent engineers and DD that need Tao be fired.
Doubt it. They'll close westchasr down first. Tyler has been counted on to clean up E&Cs mess for years.
