Like him or not he's been a very successful CISO of the worlds largest retailer and has a damn good pedigree of being secure and breach free. I'm sure some of the new take chances leadership at the helm didn't like him.
This smells of a leave on your terms or get the boot on ours!
Good guy, did great building the org to keep us protected and out of the news. Some processes s--- but a breach out have s---ed worse.

@R5PcKaf-wsy are you saying that the CISO isn't retiring, or are you saying that the allusion to him actually being removed is untrue? Because an internal email went out yesterday stating that he is indeed leaving the company.

This is an anonymous post, a mere rumor, take it as such. As far as each of us is concerned, this may be a big lie, or it may be true it does not matter - it's an anon post and has no value (for now)...
CISO is a chief information security officer - the original post may or may not allude that there are security issues there fore 'retirement' is happening.
However, we have no clue what's going on - I strongly suggest that nobody draws any conclusions on a single post on this anon site (anyone can post anything here)
