Most of us here at Community Health Systems take our responsibilities in health care very seriously. We have a dedication to patient care to provide a better quality of life, so it can get very frustrating to work with antiquated materials that are in desperate need of being repaired or replaced!
The supplies that we do have are far from being geared towards patient care, but they are cheaper, so that’s what we have to work with. In addition, management is unwilling to hire to cover shifts that have a higher demand, worsening an already bad situation.
I know the company is known for nickel and diming it, but this is going too far and it’s endangering our patients who trust us with their lives. No wonder we are losing people left and right. Caring for patients while working for Community Health Systems will soon become an oxymoron, the way things are going.
