  • OPS & AP (Loss Prevention) have been combined. All MSOs placed in a store, APMs can apply for remaining AP/OPs Mgr. position in remaining stores. DODs & DDAPs go head to head for DDAP/OPs position

  • Facilities downsized, and reports to Store Planning

  • 11 stores closing

  • HRMs & DDHRs eliminated. Can apply for HR Business Partner positions

  • Big Ticket DMs eliminated. 3 DDBT positions created per region.

  • LA North & LA Central merge

  • West Florida & North Florida merge

  • VM to VL threshold stays at $15M

  • PT Visual Staff positions and Visual staff positions in $25M and below stores eliminated

  • Restructure of Stores announced Friday

  • Restructure of Central announced Friday

I cant wait to see the OPS Manager make an arrest or deal with a resistant External, respond to alarm calls at 4am or have to stay overnight while you wait forever for the techs to arrive to fix the alarms, apprehend ORC groups, Investigate all 7911 calls, reports, COST to do's and the constant barrage of emails from the DMI, camera installs or moves, all of the Audits and RFID Scans, lead an SRM and come up with SMART action plans, 2 EMRs a month, surveillances, as well as educating the associate population about recent theft trends, handling customer disputes, dealing with cores, keys, locks, alarm codes, door entry issues, etc................. PLUS the OPS job!!! for NO INCREASE IN SALARY!!!!!

If they were going to do muti store VPSM it would have been announced already. The only place VPSMs are taking on more is where they are picking up a nearby Furniture gallery.

This is far from over.....

Meetings for vpsm's out of store next week to discuss store structure changes.

I can tell you cosmetics and Fine Jewelry are about to be hit hard with staffing reductions.

I'm also curious if they are going to do multi unit vpsms
