Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

Company Profit Sharing

Jet Blue giving out 21 million dollars of bonuses to their employees . Excluding EVPs and CEO .

With all the cuts Altice have made and the benefit of Trumps tax cuts , Altice should think about showing the same gratitude towards their employees.

To those guys crying union, look what the union did for the guys at spectrum. Still out after almost 9 months. All while having Local 3 contractors still doing work for spectrum, while having ""their" guys "stand strong". As a matter of fact, Local 3 was trying to have them temporarily go to these contractors to do work for spectrum. How's that work? Morons. Its all about lining up the pocket who is up top. Don't like you're job, or company? The beauty is you can find another one, just like hundreds of others did.

Most of the techs I know were on disciplinary actions and COULDN'T sign over and weren't allowed to after their 6 months were up.

Most of yountechs are ATS not ALTICE get it through your head. You didn’t want the union so now deal with ALL the consequences. The only ones that will be getting a severance or bonus or anything that may look like a bonus is

The few techs that remained with the corporation not the idiots that sold there soul for a 2 or 10 percent sign on bonus.

2016 Holiday Bonus

Fri 12/2/2016 4:29 PM

On behalf of Dexter, Hakim and Charlie, I would like to thank you for your significant efforts this year and your continued commitment to our customers and our company. As we have done in prior years, I am pleased to confirm that on Thursday, December 15, you will be receiving the gift of a 2016 Holiday Bonus.

As you know, over the last several months we’ve been actively reviewing our employee programs in an effort to establish competitive compensation and benefits plans that equalize the legacy programs of Cablevision and Suddenlink. As part of our review, we evaluated the historical Cablevision Holiday Bonus and found it to be a highly unique practice. Large companies, including Suddenlink, have either never offered a cash holiday gift or discontinued it many years ago.

To that end, the 2016 Holiday Bonus will be the final one. To reward eligible employees for their superior performance, Al ce USA will be paying the 2016 Performance Bonus in March 2017. If you have any ques ons about the Performance Bonus program, please contact your HR partner or manager.

Wishing you and your family a very happy and healthy holiday season.

This will never happen. Happy employees equate to happy customers. This I haven't seen this since the Company was sold. This is a sinking ship, with no lifeboat. Get out while you can still swim ashore.
