The best security a company can possess is with loyalty to their employees. GE has no loyalty with employees and has lost loyalty in return. Employees have huge amounts of proprietary data in their brains. The lack of loyalty from GE will help distribute this brain data across the globe.

It's not just by breaching security that a company can be damaged. Use your head and understand your business.

Any company that does not take their own security seriously these days, whether the threat be internal or external, will not survive for long. While some of the measures seem to be excessive, one only need to imagine what type of damage to a company can occur when security is breached.

And as a "digital industrial company," we are expecting customers to pay perfectly good money for digital incompetence. It's no wonder customers are refusing to buy products entangled with Predix crap.

At my site it is so nuts that we areunable to access GE "tools" on the my GE etc without certifying it was safe to open them 2-3 times. My Work Shop was shut down for an endless loop of sso/password , ok to open this site, back to enter password etc.

When that next phase happens they might as well lay everyone off and liquidate the company because NOTHING will be getting done anymore. "Unapproved" software is used every day in critical operations.

soon, any unapproved software will stop working as well. example—onedrive, amazon drive etc. Information security team is unecessarily adding preventive mechanisms without doing a cost/benefit and risk analysis. Vera has been oversold. Makeses sense to put controls around blueprints, design etc. and not f---ing policies and procedures.

Yeah, the SSO watermark is a PDF layer that is easily stripped out of the file. Like they say, locks are for honest people.

It still doesn't prevent you from transferring files via other methods. Even Vera doesn't prevent it, as was demonstrated recently. All of these so called safeguards just make it harder for legitimate communications to happen.

Good. This should have never been allowed in the first place. Employees don't own anything in any organization.
