Upper Leadership spent years telling everybody that they are transparent, now they just admitted that they kept the changes quiet and even lied about any changes coming since Thanksgiving of last year. This company is based on trust and promise, once trust is lost it is not easily regained.

Retooling to be nibble and cost effective is fine. Just be up front and honest with employees.
They are stalling for time. The numbers for all departments are known because of one very simple reason. This isn't a department specific thing this is an enterprise strategic reorganization. The goal of which is to prune SF to the point that it transforms into the nimble highly automated cost effective company it believes it needs to be to do what....?.... Lower the price to compete and survive.
Yes to class action!
I have loved this company. I have worked so hard for this company. I have been proud to say I worked for this company. And this company has done nothing but take away benefits that they told me they provided when I accepted the job. How can you work for a company for 25 plus years and they just change the benefits and cut out of some. It should be against the law to work for a company 25 to 30 years and them be able to take away benefits you were counting on. I think someone should start a class action suit. And I think the sick time that some used and they took from the rest of us. Where
is our payment for the unused sick days??? Class action anyone???
Jesus.... honestly f--- those scumbags. By best advice to anyone right now is.... get out before the market is flooded with more and more people. Call out if you need to go to an interview, who cares about points at this stage. Get the interviews and get out. That place will never be what it once was, at least not to employees....
No - people wouldn' say they were heartless for telling during the holiday. You can't say that. without saying how SF has said we r transparent and when we know you will know and then admit you've known for 3 months. No holiday is 3 months long. Thats just a bs excuse. Oh they would have said we were heartless if we told it during the holidays. Bs. It's heartless regardless and a lie for not telling when you knew b 4 the holiday. I'd rather be thought of as heartless rather than a liar. You can tell this is a tippy kiss a--. If you say u r transparent. Then u should be. Dumb a--.
Insight leadership virtual meeting today is where they shared about making decision to hold off on sharing about cuts until after holidays. No matter what they did it would be no win. Then people would say they were heartless for doing it during holidays.
Supposedly they want to do what their employees want. Well hear this: the employees want to know they are safe from being blindsided. We want to know that we do a days work for a days pay and we stay loyal to our company, and have that reciprocated. We want to earn our PTO time and be able to use it. The calendar for time of is so full that we can have 200 hours of PTO and we cannot get 1 or 2 hours to go to the doctor. That is just insane and that is not treating your employees right at all. We earn that time! If State Farm wants to have integrity, then do whats right when nobody is looking! All the time! This company has so many good people and does not realize it! We walk in that building every day hoping we make it through another day of hell because of the environment that all of the metrics has created! We deserve better! We give our loyalty and lives to this company so that we can EARN money, and time off, and all the benefits we were told we get when we got hired!
Wish they would offer voluntary severence to all employees and let us get out of the misery. The not knowing and uncertainty is hell.
We r all f----- they always lie. It's the state farm way. In case you haven't noticed they are going to close all offices and move everything to the hubs no matter the cost. They do not care about any employee and they are going to move all to the hubs or die. They are to far in to admit the mistake and back out. Even it they loose billions. Sf never admits a mistake and backs up. They move forward f---ed up. It's true they admitted today that they have known since November about P&C manager cuts but they didn't want to ruin anyone's holiday. R u f-ing kidding me. What happened to we tell you when we know - we r transparent. And in the same breath said they don't have plans to cut Tm's or employees. All I can is if they cut 35k employees over all which is what we r hearing. And those 35 k tell friends n family how Sf F---ed them. Good luck. Sf. Employees have the power to bring you down.
Hats off to tippy and the three stooges for creating chaos and ruining a good company
They lie all the time. I have come to expect the lies. We were told in Tacoma when the closure was announced there would be 1000 jobs elsewhere as part of the transition. Today we were told just over 800. I fully expect that number to drop again when they post the transition jobs because lying is their game.
"now they just admitted that they kept the changes quiet and even lied about any changes coming since Thanksgiving of last year" - where did they do this?
Yawn. SF sells a mandatory product. People don’t give a rats A, they just want that proof of insurance card for as cheap as possible.
People’s don’t care about it
Tipsword don’t care about it
Fowhad and his Indigo gurlz don’t care about it
