@nah: If I were an institutional shareholder, I would ask exactly that question: Why couldn‘t the board come up with that great plan before? That alone would make me vote blue.
And from an employee perspective, I have to wonder if the only weapons we have against hostile takeovers are savings programs and layoffs. Because these don‘t protect the employees from the savings programs or layoffs that occur after a takeover. So white or blue is basically a zero sum game for us employees. The only ones who really have some stakes in this are the board members. We lose, no matter what.
Exactly -nah!! If the takeover does not happen, then Qualcomm shareholders will have Broadcom and HTan to thanks for EVERY SINGLE bump in performance.
Preciously ! Time for a change. Make "Qualcomm" Great Again.
