For those that did not want to get laid off, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your families. For those who were ready to leave Humana, know that majority of us that are left wish you the best. It is not easy to put myself in your shoes but I do pray that everyone will find employment soon. hoping for early release like the PHC got
I wish all of you the best of luck! I will give you a bit of advice...make sue that you utilize the right Management resources to take advantage of updating your resume. I attended some of their on line classes and updated linken. I applied internally for a few jobs but, that proved to be a waste of time. It may have been because of the timing of my layoff.. not sure.. just found it to be very time consuming to go through lists of jobs trying to find one that was in my area.. you may not have that issue. Make sure that you sign up for unemployment.. it's not much but it will help.. get you through until you find the right fit for you!
Thank you. I am glad its over and I agree they really are offering a good deal along with job seeking resources, etc. They are very professional in that matter. Now pray for an early release so we have more time to job search and interview, etc.
That's very kind. For me its very bittersweet. I'm glad its over. I know a lot of people are angry but Humana is offering a lot of support to us cut. Most companies wouldn't do that. Prayers for everyone. I hope this is the last cut.
