Anybody knows what happens to medical coverage when a person is laid off? Is there any period of coverage or do they get cut off immediately?

You will continue to have coverage through your severance period. Money will be deducted from your severance checks. After which you will be offered cobra which is the full cost of the premiums ( your portion and what Humana has been paying)
