What is you with all of Section Manager openings in Claims?

This does not affect team managers only section manager and above.
Section Mgrs, Team Mgrs and Trainers have veen laid off and opt'd for the severance. About 10-50 have been laid off in the Atlanta, GA hub alone. Seeking fresh talent with new ideas for less pay than those affected by the layoff. That's the goal!!
A lot of the Section Managers were offered positions in other regions which would mean they would have to move away in less than 3 months. So, many of them turned down the positions and opted for the buyout instead. SF wasn’t prepared for so many SM’s leaving the company and has no choice but to re-post the jobs. However, the Section Managers who were told to move to keep their jobs may now have an opportunity to post for an open position closer or where they already live.
So, yeah, claims leadership was reduced by 20%.
Most of the existing section managers have been in those roles for some time and were making nice salaries. Now they can replace them with employees with much less tenure (and knowledge) and pay them a lot less.
So they're firing the front line and hiring a bunch more managers?
