Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Naive and Heads is Sand

It seems to me that there are still a lot of naive people who think, "this can't happen to me". Wake up, no one is safe! Seems that the business as usual with the MAPMs is especially concerning. They are barely treading water and act like they have not lost all their APMs... Assistant Managers are also naive that they are not about to face Walmarts version of the Hunger Games...

Regarding this massive disaster sweeping over Walmart:

Salaried management I couldn't care less about. Some started off good and allowed themselveds to be turned bad; other started off bad and eagerly became worse.

All made their decisions of their free will.

But I do feel sorry and concerned for the good, long term hourly emplpyees who've slaved and struggled for, in some case, all their productive lives. Too young to retire, too old to start new.

If I were a store manager, an asst or an hourly supervisor I’d be extremely nervous. If they want the existing co’s to move up there will need to be mgr openings and we all know there are bad mgrs that need dumped. Assts are also not created equal so cut them. They are already cutting high pd, long term assoc so dm’s beware. No safety here my friends.

I agree 110% no one is safe. I'm still off on pay because I'm a displaced co, they have not gave me any options...not a single phone call.

Ridiculous
