By the time this was posted it’s already too late. Oracle gets its hooks into the products well before the acquisitions are announced. Poor bastards.
Oracle ALWAYS buys and stripps companies, they will get rid of admin functions first, then cut product development, get rid of sales people, next thing you know nobody from your old company is around anymore. Oracle has a well honed process for this, there are no exceptions. And oh yes, they will drive your customers away by changing the contract language to obnoxious, one sided oracle contracts - that’s the first thing they do. You’re re hosed!

I remember hearing that same "continue to invest" a couple of times over 4.5 years as an acquired company... The first time was when we were originally thrown into the Oracle blender. The other times came in attempts to boost morale. Do not be fooled.
