JNL will cut over a hundred folks. Things are getting worse.
Jackson National Life Insurance Co., a subsidiary of Fortune 500 company Prudential, has laid of 161 employees from its El Segundo office, according to data released by the state earlier this month.
Jackson had notified workers of the impending mass layoff last Aug. 30 as required by the state Employment Development Department’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. The layoff was effective Nov. 1 and a report received by the EDD Feb. 6.
