Isnt it fun running out to the floor bin for customer pickups? in under 5 minutes lol.....then hoping that it wasn't substituted for another item of (equal) value lol.....

Spoken like a manager, but head in the sand as usual. Nothing in the backroom went away, just the people to do it. So yea I'm doing it all normally by myself in the backroom, forget being on the floor. I pass my relief as we're punching in or out.
You're supposed to be on the floor already anyways. You shouldn't be in the stockroom unless you need to be there to perform a specific function like unloading a truck or PMT/RTV.
