This company can't stand for you to tell the truth. Customers want to know why service is bad and you tell them the DM's cutting hours. DM's get upset and tell you don't tell the customer that. Tell them we are managing our payroll. If you look up yes men and liars it should have the picture of every Advance DM. I'm not lying for you because you're a DM. (Dumb Manager)

The truth means very little to management and they could care less about your relationship with your customers. I have had management ride with me and look the customer in the eye and lie while they smile at them and shake their hand!
This is why will never ever ever be successful in commercial accounts. They have already burnt that bridge !

I hear rumblings about a new venture called World Quest to service Commercial customers, but again with Advance behind the wheel it will be another crash and burn as it seems to be all they know how to do.
Can't be no worse than our a/r dept now they don't know how to add 2 + 2 so if these new people are incompetent that would be a step up
Commercial is gonna crash and burn now that they are getting rid of their entire A/R department, moving it 200 miles away and staffing it with people who im surprised were able to pass the skills test. Commercial customers are going to get pissed very soon and choose to take their business elsewhere, and corporate leadership doesnt seem to care.

I've lost 2 customers who spent 5000 to 7500 a month to NAPA in the last 30 days due to poor service and product availability. The idiot DM has cut us to the bone and then talks about customers having their parts in 30 minutes. This is the stupidest bunch of people I have ever worked for. Then they come and ask what can we do to get them back. Wake up morons they aren't coming back.
This company has become the masters of manipulation by misleading customers, employees, and shareholders. Overall it was a decent company before the Hedge Fund Demons got on board, now they will do what ever it takes to make money for themselves only, and screw the rest.
Bottom line is AAP cannot service a commercial customer. Too busy focusing on retail and cutting hours. They lead the auto parts industry by 2X in turnover. Not even the Zone comes close. And people work here why?

As in, the latest financials were reported as very positive. Is that even possible considering what's going on at store level? And with revenues? No, of course not.
