This is not right and I’ve reported to HR on the bullying tactics from management. Has anyone else been threatened from there manager that they will take away there severance if they don’t follow all there BS rules?

Yes that sounds right and that’s Capital One for you. From HR to DM all do there . They show they are working for you but in the end they you are nothing.worst company.glad don’t work there any more . Mental toucher effect your health. They don’t care if you die they will move on . Please leave capital one company. Useless don’t what are they doing.
HR is out only for senior management and are down right bullies. I was treated unfairly, discriminated due to age and also retaliated against for questioning legalities and stripped of my position. Told that my management position was no longer required and then right after my last day, that SAME POSITION AND TITLE was a PROMOTION to a milennial on the team (also happens to be a young kid but fits into the role due to being a partier and a good ole drinking boy). BS rules? Severance doesnt mean you cannot sue even though it says that, go to
Google "employees sue Capital One and you will see a case (2002-2004 Virginia) that is a an ezact replica of what I experienced" and there are other cases as well. Get your complaint filed with the EEOC and get a good wrongful termination/discrimination employment attorney and I am certain there will be many that would join you in your pursuit for justice and fairness if they could connect with you. I was smart enough to see the setup months before it occured ( oh yeah when HR began having bi-weekly check-ins with me after years of being there and never having them before) and everyday I personally documented the entire timeline, all events, all persons involved, all HRs disregard for factual employee issues and disrespect for the truth. Worse is when your senior manager has the nerve to look you in the eye and LIE to your face when asked if you are being redeployed. I wonder how they look at themselves and feel proud of whom they really are and then go home and look at thier children and teach them that lying, deciept, treating people poorly and bullying are ok because that is what they do for a living or are they the hypocrite by facing them and teaching them to do good unto others. AMAZING STANDARDS!! I am on a new journey now, pursuing a case of my own and hopefully you will too. Good Luck and possibly our paths will cross and a class action wil be around the corner. yes. spoke to someone at hr. was pulled aside and told that wont have long career if something stupid happens. FU. everyone should call for protection so there is a record of unfair treatment. even the selection of them was unclear and never explained.
