Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

State Farm is the worst

I spent 5 years of my life with this company. Although it gave me great skills I went from a good company to just low and horrible. The way they treat people is unfathomable. The way they act like they own your life and belittle you. I saw a strong employee work there for 15 years and had a great history with the company get demoted then fired because she talked to customers too long. They throw you in whatever department they need you. I’m sad for what happen but happy employees no longer need to suffer from the hands of this horrible company.

They have these hubs and now bloomington is set up to be the foreigner hub. These people don’t speak our language don’t shower have. the worst manners and are so entitled. They ate taking over the town. 4 seasons is already theirs. Blooming grove academy was taken over and had to close. Send them back to India. Why did SF bring them in to take over our neighborhoods and jobs.

There is very clearly a pattern. Anyone who knows or can identify this pattern no matter how inept they are they end up keeping. Think AP and MO.

12 years and great results, now I am being belittled and micromanaged to the point of making me ill. I listen to motivational speakers on the way to work, just to remind myself that I am a great employee. Go in every day knowing I will receive belittlement and negativity to the point that my management has created a hostile work environment. I’m trying to hang in for the severance package, but beginning to believe that it just isn’t worth it, so am beginning the application process elsewhere. They have targeted over 40 and you are an even larger target if you used FMLA...that includes if it was (as an example) for the death of a husband, father and yes even a child. But strangely enough, if you signed on then took several maternity leaves in a 5 year period, or less...you are not a target. Not over 40. Get the pattern?

If something doesn't change in CLC with this stupid EOM it's going to be a disaster. This company better wake up and realize what they are doing before it goes under.

This EOM garbage got into the CLCs!? Unbelievable. So what happens if you don’t get a positive verdict in 3 minutes?

State Farm is not the same company it use to be . That is why they are no longer called the Good Neighbor ! They are now BIG business and have no care for their long term employees or their customers! This is so sad . Wake up State Farm it is going to come back to you as customers are leaving in droves.

I worked there for 5 years and had the worst experience of my professional career. People were arrogant and acted like you weren’t good enough if you hadn’t spent your entire career there. It was a joke, everyone talked about how wasteful the spend was and how the spend never returned any results. I mean everyone at all levels and no one ever did anything about it. I guess they are doing something about it now but it seems it’s the same jerks that were at fault for all of the reckless spend during ICP. Why would you continue to have any level of confidence in these people?

Makes no sense.

SF is ripe for the taking. Every competitor should just come out and go head to head with the big fat stupid dog. This is a freakin mutual company and we are cutting people like it is a fire sale in order to be bought out. Its nuts. It is incompetence at the highest levels and Tipsord did not start it. It started with this idiotic EOM madness and it gets worse with every passing day. Stick a fork in it.

They're doing the same with the CLCs. Corporate overrule infiltrating and obstructing the practice of law and ruining our lives (my life at least, what's left of it). Long time employees forced to quit or transfer from unexperienced, megalomaniac management and with the installation of EOM, it's all about numbers and not the quality of legal work some of us produce or the legal experience some of us have. They overload the good employees to the point of insanity, belittle others and prevent the growth SF preaches and deliberately plot to get rid of others not meeting their unrealistic standards of do more, better, faster, or simply if they don't fit the corporate mold (not part of the clique). Gotta get out before I lose my mind.
