What will Happen to Erie GE.?

Anybody have any news about what will happen to the GE plant in Erie pa.

All around the globe transportation support employees are being moved from the horizontal (shared services) back to the transportation vertical. This is a sign that they want it to be totally independent of GE so it can be sold or made a separate company like Baker Hughes. I don't think we will have more layoffs at this point in the process. Some time it is better to get sold. Look at GE Appliances and Synchrony Finance. Those people are doing much better and have been for several years. I believe Bombardier would be good choice for us going forward. The good old days at GE are gone. It was a nice run but i am ready to move on. How about you?
