It will be just horrible if they close 60 clubs and tragic for so many associates. I pray this doesn't happen

A lot of it has to do with putting clubs too close to each other. Ultimately becoming it’s own competition. Plus if you are not profiting or just marginal it’s not viable.. it’s a business, just about every company expands and contracts.
The only justification for closing clubs should be that they haven’t been profitable for at least several years. I’m not saying that’s their criteria, but at least it would be reasonable. Supposedly, my club may be on a list for consideration to be closed. We are a relatively small club, but we have been profitable. If, and it’s a big if, our club ends up closing i would love to hear the reason(s) why.
